You Wouldn’t Lie to Me Would You? (2025)

With a smile as sweet as pie and a severed head cradled like a roast, this suburban matriarch delivers the punchline to a much darker joke. Set in a pristine mid-century kitchen… complete with pies, pot roast, and illusion paper seeping through the window. You Wouldn’t Lie to Me Would You? exposes the grotesque underbelly of performative domestic bliss. The woman's demeanor is pleasant, even loving, as she prepares to slide his head into the oven beside a feast of empty comforts.

This is the American Dream… if you ignore the screaming. Honey weaponizes nostalgia here... turning idealized gender roles into a surreal act of justice. The illusion paper, as always, signals a rupture, a call to look closer. Something is wrong... Something was wrong... And someone finally decided to do something about it.

The question isn’t whether she’s unhinged... it’s whether she believed him one too many times.
